Mike Akerly brings nearly 20 years of experience across real estate law, development, investment, and new construction. Prior to co-founding his own firms, he held senior executive roles at national organizations, leading major development projects across diverse U.S. markets. Over his career, Mike has been involved in more than $4 billion in new development, working with leading developers and capital partners in the U.S. and internationally. His experience across markets—from New York City to Maui—directly informs the strategy, execution, and quality standards of the firm’s projects. Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and a Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City. He is a licensed principal real estate broker in Tennessee and Alabama and is admitted to practice law in New York and Massachusetts.
